Try-outs take place around the start of the academic year. Competitive and recreational memberships are available, subject to capacity.

Membership information

How selections, recreational membership and the waiting list work.

Joining Punch is straightforward, but the number of places is limited. Team selections normally take place around the end of August, just before the academic year starts. This is the best moment to join. Selected players receive the full membership form after the try-outs.

Punch has ten competition teams as well as a non-competitive option. Recreational members practise on Mondays without league games and pay a lower contribution because fewer competition and administration costs apply.

The men's teams are usually full after selections, so joining during the season can be difficult. When no place is available, you can join the waiting list. Places in the women's teams are generally more likely to remain available; women and non-binary players are welcome to ask about current capacity.

The club contribution depends on your team and is separate from the mandatory X subscription. The figures below are for 2025–2026 and will be updated for the new season.
